Cecil Jonely - Class of 1928

Cecil Jonely, 51, former Montpelier resident died on a Monday in May 1962 in Salt Lake City.  The son of William and Annie Obliger Jonely, he was born in Montpelier on June 29, 1910.  He attended school here and graduated from Montpelier High School with the class of 1928.  He married Norma Hanson in Montpelier on June 16, 1934.  He was employed by the US Forest Service in Montpelier, Boise and Salt Lake City for a number of years and at the time of his death was employed by the Hiland Milk Company as a salesman.  He was a member of the LDS Church.  Besides his widow he is survived by a son, a daughter and three grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in Salt Lake City.  Burial will be in the Montpelier Cemetery.
