Emma B. Eastman, 60, a former resident of Montpelier died on October 27, 1970 at the Bingham Memorial Hospital in Blackfoot.  She was born in Montpelier on May 25, 1910 the daughter of Joseph and Anne Jensen Rasmussen.  She and Emmett Eastman were married in 1935 in Salt Lake City.  Mrs. Eastman was a registered nurse and followed her profession for 13 years at hospitals in Montpelier, two years in Burley and eight years in Blackfoot where she was in charge of the nursing home for some time.  Her hobby was writing and she had poems published in Life Magazine and by the Idaho Writer's Guild.  She is survived by her husband, one son, one daughter and three grandchildren.  Services were held at the Matthews Mortuary Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
