Merlin C. Nelson, 64, died Sunday morning September 12, 1975 at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital.  He was born August 11, 1912 at Brigham City, Utah to Mabel Carter and H. M. Nelson.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1930 and worked at the News Examiner in Montpelier as a printer from 1930 to 1972.  He married Nellie Homer November 22, 1941 and was a member of the LDS Church.  Survivors include his wife, two daughters, two sons and six grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in the Matthews Mortuary Chapel.  Interment was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
