Janone Jensen (Timmreck) - Class of 1939

Janone Jensen Timmreck, 52, of Cokeville died Monday in the LDS Hospital at Logan following injuries suffered February 13 in a car-train collision at a railway crossing in Cokeville.  She was born May 31, 1921 in Montpelier the eldest child of Alfred T. and Olive Matilda Dayton Jensen.  She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1939.  Her marriage to Carl Timmreck was on July 24, 1940 in Lundy, Idaho and the marriage was solemnized July 2, 1959 in the Logan LDS Temple.  Active in Cokeville community and civic affairs she was president of the TOPS and later the Weight Losers Clubs.  She was also a worker in the LDS Church holding positions of Sunday School teacher, visiting teacher, ward choir president and primary teacher for nearly 33 years.  She was a member of the singing mothers, stake choir and ladies sextet.  Surviving are her husband, two sons and four grandsons.   Services were held in the Cokeville LDS Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Cokeville Cemetery.
