Dean Lee - Class of 1934

Word was received last week of the death of Ernest Dean Lee, 55, of Visalia, California.  He was born August 18, 1916 at Bennington, Idaho the son of Arthur Ernest and Elva Rosella Wilcox Lee.  He attended elementary school at Bennington and graduated from Montpelier High School.  In 1941 he graduated from Utah State University and joined the US Army Air Corps the same year.  He served four years overseas and earned the Bronze Star.  Mr. Lee was recalled for two years during the Korean War and held the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force Reserve.  Mr. Lee and Helen Lois Bronson were married on July 30, 1942 in Cambridge, Massachusetts.  They moved to Modesto, California in 1945 and to Visalia in 1948 where he was employed for radio station KTKC.  Funeral services were held at Visalia. He is survived by his wife, one son, one daughter and one grandchild   Burial was in the Ogden City Cemetery.
