Elizabeth Gladys Dorney Hirschi, 72, died November 1, 1978 at the home of her son in Grover, Wyoming following a lingering illness.  She was born June 3, 1906 in Montpelier to Alfred Lott and Elizabeth Esther Blazer Dorney.  She lived in Dingle until she was 10 when the family moved to Montpelier.  She Married Carl Edward Hirschi March 13, 1935 in Paris.  This marriage was later solemnized in Logan LDS Temple March 11, 1966.  She was an active member of the LDS Church where she worked mostly with the youth in Primary and Mutual.  She also served as the Republican Committee woman for the Geneva Precinct for a number of years.  Survivors include her husband, two sons and 10 grandchildren.  Funeral services were held in the Geneva Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
