Lilly Glauser (Desy) - Class of 1948

Lilly Glauser Desy, 60, died July 19, 1991 at her home in San Francisco, California of cancer.  She was born in Montpelier August 17, 1930 to Emil and Mary Glauser.  She grew up and received her schooling in Montpelier and attended BYU.  She resided in Rolla, Missouri, Washington DC and San Francisco where her husband Don a retired Civil Service Doctor of Metallurgy worked for the US Government.  She worked at the San Francisco French's Hospital, (later named Kaiser) as head of the records transcription department.  She was a dedicated musician and generously shared her vocal talent and skill on the harp.  She was a great supporter of musical organizations and promoted appreciation for the harp.  She is survived by her husband, a son and one granddaughter.  A family memorial in her memory was held in Salt Lake City on July 21.
