Gordon Groves Winn, 88, died at the home of his sister on May 11, 1993.  He was born January 18, 1905 in Salt Lake City to James Lincoln and Mattea Christensen Winn, the first baby born in the new LDS Hospital.  He graduated from Montpelier High School.  He married Elva Clarke August 9, 1927 in Kemmerer, Wyoming and she preceded him in death.  During his lifetime he worked at many different jobs and travelled around the world. He served in the US Army for four years during World War II. He loved music and played the banjo and guitar.  He is survived by his sister.  A graveside service was held May 14 in the Montpelier Cemetery.
