Ross Doman - Class of 1950

D. Ross Doman, 65, passed away June, 25, 1997 at home in Kennewick, Washington.  He was born in Parma, Idaho May 26, 1932 and grew up in various towns in Idaho and Wyoming.  He married Anita Crane in the Logan LDS Temple March 24, 1952.  After obtaining a BS degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Idaho in 1955 he moved to the Tri-Cities, Washington to work for General Electric.  In 1960 he received his master's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Idaho.  He served as a member of the American Nuclear Society Robotics and Systems Executive Board and as national chairman of the ANS-11 Standard Committee.  Ross was an active member of the LDS Church and served in numerous leadership capacities.  At the time of his death he was serving as employment director with his wife, Anita, at LDS Employment Services.  Ross is survived by 5 children and 11 grandchildren.  Funeral services were held June 30 at the LDS Kennewick Stake Center Chapel.  Interment was at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
