Roma Nield Parker, 71, died February 22, 1999 at the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier.  She was born December 10, 1927 in Montpelier to LaVar B. and Rhena Emily Wilkes Nield.  She was reared in Montpelier and attended Montpelier schools graduating from Montpelier High School.  She attended Idaho State College and fulfilled a mission for the LDS Church in the Northwestern States Mission.  On November 14, 1951 she married Don C. Parker in the Logan LDS Temple.  To this union were born eight children.  Funeral services were held Thursday, February 25 at noon in the Montpelier Third Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
