Loa Lee Tueller (Nelson) - Class of 1945

Loa Lee Tueller Nelson peacefully passed away in her Bountiful home on January 8, 2015. She was born October 12, 1927 in Montpelier, Idaho to Alvin Christian Tueller and Cecelia Ellen Dustin. She served as a faithful missionary in the Southwest Indian Mission where she also met her eternal companion, Clyde Wendell Nelson. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple on August 20, 1954.

She loved and served the Lord all her days. Her family was her treasure. She never spoke an unkind word and was loved by all who knew her. She was a talented artist, loved to write poetry and kept an immaculate home.

Loa Lee is survived by a sister, Beth Olsen, and two brothers Larry Tueller and Glade Tueller, three children, Lori (Russ) Merritt, Rian (Stacy) Nelson and Brad Nelson and 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Sunday, January 11 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Russon Brothers Mortuary 295 No. Main Bountiful, UT. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12 at 11:00 am at the Val Verda 8th Ward 2651 So. 500 W. Bountiful. Friends and family are welcome to attend a morning viewing prior to the funeral from 9:45-10:45 at the same meetinghouse. Online guestbook at www.russonmortuary.com.
