Nelda Gerber (DeMain) - Class of 1950

Nelda Heidi Gerber DeMain passed away peacefully on May 14, 2017. She was born on March 29, 1931 in Montpelier, Idaho to Christian and Margaret Schlunegger Gerber. She grew up in Idaho and moved to the Ogden area after high school. She married Clarence DeMain. They had two children and then later divorced. 

She was a member of the LDS Church and served in many callings, including three missions. She had various jobs and loved the outdoors, small animals, and chocolate. She had a deep sense of pride for her family. 

Nelda is survived by her 2 sons; David (RaeAnn) DeMain and Corey (Colleen Farrell) DeMain; 6 grandchildren; Shandi, Connor, Wyanne, and Landon DeMain, Buck (Shari) and John (Megan) Walker; 3 great-grandchildren; Abigail, Henry, and Stetson; and her sisters; Ruth, Edna, and Lillian. She is preceded in death by her parents and 8 siblings. 

Graveside services will be held at the Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison, Ogden, on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at 11 a.m.
