Ross Irving - Class of 1946

Charles Ross Irving was born on July 13, 1928 to Alonzo Chester Irving and Margaret Winona Nelson. His sister is Maxine Irving (Stuart) and his brothers are William Russell Irving, Alonzo Grant Irving and Glen Conrad Irving. He passed away on January 7, 1985 in Montpelier, Idaho from unknown causes. He was a veteran of the Korean War and was survived by nephews L. Russell Stuart and James R. (Jim) Irving and by a niece, Lynda Sue Irving (Jensen).

Charles Ross Irving, 56, of Montpelier died Monday, January 7, 1985 in a Salt Lake City hospital.  He was born July 13, 1928 in Montpelier to Alonzo C. and Winona Nelson Irving.  He was a member of the LDS Church and was educated in Montpelier schools.  He enjoyed the outdoors, exploring the mountains, fishing and hunting.  He was a veteran of the armed forces serving in Korea.  He was a railway express agent in Montpelier and was an employee of the Postal Service as a mail carrier from Garden City, Utah to Kemmerer, Wyoming for many years until he retired.   He is survived by one sister and one brother.  Funeral services were  held at the Matthews Mortuary Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery.
