Delbert B. Homer, 77, died at his home in Nampa on March 5. He was born November 18, 1913 in Dingle to Ida Bird Homer and James Edgar Homer. He was raised in Bear Lake and attended schools there. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1933 and enlisted in the Army in August of 1942. He served in the India-Burma tour of duty. Upon his return from the service he went to work at the State Normal School in Nampa where he was loved and respected by the staff and handicapped children. He was preceded in death by his wife in May, 1989. He is survived by two sisters and four brothers.  Graveside services were held in Nampa. Military rites were conducted by the Nampa American Legion.
