Hulda Trussel was born on January 23, 1917 to Frederick Trussell (1855 - 1938) and Rosina Hollenweger Trussell (1883 - 1942). She had one half-sister, Lena Bertha Trussell Grosjean (1882  - 1972). She married Ernest Huppi (1904 - 1978) and they had a daughter, Rose Marie Huppi (Thompson) (1937 - 2007). She passed away on June 9, 1997 and was buried in the Logan City Cemetery in Logan, Utah, plot A_25_10_5.
