Robert Ludwig - Class of 1944

In loving memory of our husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who passed away peacefully July 11, 2000.

Born June 12, 1926 in Pocatello, Idaho. Married to Lura Jean Balefske on March 22, 1947, solemnized in Salt Lake Temple on March 21, 1958.

Served in Naval Seabee in World War II. Active member of the LDS Faith serving as a bishop, counselor, high counselor and patriarch. He was a retired USPS worker. He was a volunteer for the fire department and served as a city councilman.

He is survived by his wife, eight children and their spouses, 21 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two brothers and their spouses as well as many other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, one granddaughter, two great-grandsons and his sisters.

There will be a viewing Friday, July 14, 2000 from 6-8 p.m. at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel 10600 S 1700 E, Sandy, and one hour prior to the funeral services which will be held Saturday July 15, 2000 at 11 am also at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel.
