LaVon Dimick Arnell, 73, died Wednesday July 2, 1997 at the Bannock Regional Hospital in Pocatello.  She was born May 11, 1924 in Montpelier to Thomas LeRoy and Lillian Dayton Dimick.  She married Elwood Oscar Arnell December 8, 1943 in the Logan LDS Temple on a very cold, snowy day.  She attended school in Montpelier and in Cokeville and graduated from Montpelier High School.  She worked for many years at Bear Lake Drug.  She was an active member of the LDS Church and held many different positions including officiator in the Logan Temple for the past 11 years.  She loved painting, flower arranging, music, reading and ceramics.   She had three daughters, one son and 21 grandchildren.  Funeral services were heldMonday, July 7 in the Montpelier First/Fourth Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Montpelier Cemetery with services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary.
