Lola Kunz (Williamson) - Class of 1961

Lola Lee Kunz Williamson, 67, died Oct. 20, 2010, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center from pneumonia.

Lola was born Aug. 19, 1943, in Montpelier, Idaho, to Leo Robert and Nathell Cook Kunz.

After growing up in the southeast Idaho area, Lola attended Utah State University, where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.

While attending college, Lola met her future husband, Robert Williamson. She taught elementary school in Utah, Oregon, Idaho and Texas. Lola had a gift and love for teaching and started many children on a pathway of learning.

Lola was a kind person who loved life, adventures and the many friends she developed throughout her life. She enjoyed being around people. She loved to laugh, share life stories, shop, garden, sew and decorate. She had many fun moments spent gathered with family. Lola will be missed greatly by her family and everyone who knew her.

Lola is survived by her husband, Robert Williamson; her daughter, Shelly (Marc) Fonnesbeck of Rigby; her son, Steven (Liz Lank) Williamson of Dallas; and six wonderful grandchildren, Sawyer, Tanner, Tate and Kailee Fonnesbeck, and Rob and Georgia Williamson.

She was preceded in death by both parents.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 23, at Wood Funeral Home East Side, 963 S. Ammon Road in Ammon, Idaho.

Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Logan City Cemetery in Logan, Utah.
