Doris Rae Stephens Hunt, 24, of Salt Lake City, died Saturday September 15, 1962 at 7:30 p.m. in a Denver hospital following a lingering illness. The daughter of Lyle and Stella Roderick Stephens of Montpelier, she was born in Soda Springs, October 2, 1937. Mrs. Hunt attended the Montpelier schools and graduated from Montpelier High School with the class of 1956, where she was active in music. She continued her music training at the University of Utah. Her marriage to Gayle Dean Hunt was in the LDS Temple. Salt Lake City, on September 18, 1956. A brother. Lyle C. (Mickey) Stephens preceded her in death, December 25, 1959. Besides her husband and parents, she is survived by two daughters. Stephany Ann and Mary Alene, and one son, Paul Dean Hunt, all of Salt Lake City; one brother, Roger L. Stephens of Logan; and grandmother, Mrs. Mary Stephens of Montpelier. Services were held today (Thursday) in Salt Lake City, followed later by graveside services and burial in the Montpelier cemetery.
