James Henry Rowland - Class of 1932

MONTPELIER – James Henry Rowland 62, died November 27, 1976 at the Montpelier Memorial Hospital. James Henry Rowland was born 10 Jan. 1914 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Frederick Thomas and Hannah Pitcher Rowland. Henry worked with his brothers and father at the Montpelier Laundry and Dry Cleaners. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1932. After graduating, he attended the American Institute of Laundering in Joliet, Illinois in 1940. After attaining his certificate, he returned to Montpelier to work in the family business. He was a loving son, brother, and uncle. Survivors – two brothers, Edward Jex, Montpelier, Robert Richard Rowland, Montpelier; five nieces and two nephews.
