(1973) After graduation from high school, I entered nurses training in the L.D.S. Hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho. I graduated from there in 1931 and after taking and passing state boards I worked In Idaho Falls, Soda Springs and Montpelier doing both general and private duty.

Early in 1936 I met Weston Martineau and we were married on October 1, 1936.

We have two lovely daughters. Our No. 1 daughter, Liane, Is married to a fine young man and they have presented us with three lovely grandchildren. We have a little granddaughter who is 8, a grandson 4, and a grandson 2. Our No. 2 daughter, Julie, teaches teachers about teaching aids for the special needs children and she works out of Eugene, Oregon.

We have lived most of our married life in Montpelier until the Railroad terminal was taken out of Montpelier. Now Weston’s run is out of Pocatello.
We have a farm two miles out of Montpelier which Weston loves dearly and when he is retired from the railroad we’ll come home to the valley again.

In the meantime we are happy and contented living in Pocatello. We have each other, our church work, and our 13 year old black cat who doesn't know he’s not a “people.
