(1973) After graduation I went to work with the Highway Department of the State of Idaho. In May 1937 I hired out in the Transportation department of the Union Pacific Railroad. I was promoted to Conductor and am still working in this capacity in Rawlins, Wyoming.

On September 25, 1940, Thelma Eschler and I were married in Paris, Idaho. We moved to Rawlins in the Spring of 1941.

We have two children; Stephen, who is in the Engineering Department of Colorado Interstate Gas Co. at Laramie, Wyoming, and Dianne, who is married and lives in Rawlins. We have THREE Grandchildren.

Sorry I was unable to attend the last two Reunions but promised Wendell I’d be to the one in 1975 come Hell or high water.
