Educated in Idaho Public schools, University of Colorado 1936, Idaho State University Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, 1938. Past President of Phi Delta Chi; President of Idaho State Pharmaceutical Association 1945-1948; director of Idaho State Pharmaceutical Association 1945-1948; President of Idaho State Board of Pharmacy 1948 and 1950; Member and Vice President of Idaho State Board of Pharmacy two terms each; Member of National Association of Boards of Pharmacy; honorary license in 23 states including Alaska; Member of staff of American Red Cross; Rotarian peat President and four terms director; Member and past vice president of Montpelier Chamber of Commerce and director; Member of University Club of Salt Lake City; Moose; Member of Elks, Garden Grove; Two term director of Orange Pharmaceutical Association; Owned and operated Burgoyne Pharmacy, Montpelier, Idaho; Drugs by Ashley in Spokane, Washington; Employed by and have served as Pharmacy Supervisor of the Hy Lo Drug Chain, Will open Gordon’s Fairview Pharmacy, 1919 North Fairview, Santa Ana, California 92706 on or about the first of October 1974--professional pharmacy.

Married to Ellen McDonald, of Edmonton, Alberta Canada. Two sons; Dr. Gordon Kearl Ashley II, Nuclear Physicist, Blair a Student of Santa Ana Junior College, Diesel engineering and mechanics; Two daughters, Allyson, a Master in Psychology; Mary Jane a Junior at the ElModena High School and plans to be a veterinarian. I served about two and a half years in England on a mission for the Mormon Church; have traveled Europe.
