(1974) This is a brief outline of my life from graduation until now.

I graduated from Montpelier High on the 28th of May 1931.

I worked on odd jobs trying to get enough ahead to attend College but it was during the Depression and work was hard to find and money was harder to get. I couldn't get going on this so on the 7th day of March 1934 I married Erma Dalrymple and started on the greatest Education a person can obtain in this life.

I worked as a Time keeper for the W.P.A. for awhile then as work started to pick up we moved to Conda Idaho and started to work in the Phosphate Mine. From Conda we moved back to Montpelier where I worked for the San Francisco Chemical Company for a few years.

We then moved back to Soda Springs, Idaho where I went to work as a Butcher learning to cut, cure and wrap meat for a locker plant. After a few years I manage a Plant where we killed animals of all kinds and cut and wrapped for lockers and home freezers. (By the way the Wife did most of the wrapping.) This got to be heavy work and long hours so I left here and went to work for Monsanto Company with shorter hours and better pay. Also real good Insurance. While at work one day I had a stroke and had to take Medical Retirement. This retirement was two years ago but I have been pretty busy since.

The Wife and I do a lot of traveling and just go and come as we feel like it. We both enjoy sports of all kinds, especially Football. (I haven't lost my love for the game and hope I never will.) So you see there is no arguments as to what station we are going to watch on T.V.

During these years past we were blessed with three Sons and one Daughter. We lost our youngest Son and Daughter so that left us with our two oldest Sons. Larry, our oldest was born Feb. 23, 1935. He now lives in Livermore Calif. He Married Delia Price from Geneva, Idaho and the have three Children. Jamie who is twelve years, Sheryl who is eleven and Ellen who is eight. Larry is an electrical Engineer.

Roger our youngest Son was born 11 Aug. 1938. He lives in Soda Springs, Ida. He Married Lynda Tolley from Pocatello, Ida. and they have three Children. Roby is Twelve, Shawn is nine and Stacy who is six. Roger is Lead Man in Production and Works for Kerr McGee.

I have lots of Hobbys which I enjoy very much. I make Picture Frames of all kinds, Cabinets, Tables, Lamps refinish old Furniture, and anything that I take a fancy to do. These past forty two years have been happy for us and very Educational in the ways of life.

The Wife and I are sure enjoying life as we just go and come as we feel like doing.
