Irene, age 58, living in Pocatello, ID died at her home February 27, 1988 following a lingering illness.  She was born 30 Jan 1930 in Montpelier, ID to Frederick and Hilda Roberts Sommers.  She attended schools in Montpelier, ID, graduating from Montpelier High School in 1949. 

She married Dallas H. Hansen on August 1, 1960 at Elko, NV.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls Temple.  She was a member of the LDS Church and served a mission to the Central Atlantic States.  She enjoyed cooking, outdoor activities, piano and handcrafts. She is survived by her husband a daughter, Mrs. Steve (Lisa Jo) Stone and two granddaughters. Funeral services were held in the Pocatello LDS Fifty-Second Ward Chapel.  Burial was in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
