Jack Lund - Class of 1959

Jack wa orn October 11, 1931.  After Jack graduated from high school, his family sold the service station they had operated and bought Pine Creek Ranch, located a few miles out of Cokeville, WY.  Bud spent many years on the ranch, raising cattle, horses, sheep and various crops.  He also worked for several years for Union Pacific Railroad, then as an underground miner and later a dairy equipment salesman. 

When the Teton Dam broke, he volunteered for about a year with the Teton Disaster Task Force, working primarily with senior citizens in evaluating their needs.  He then worked several years with Eastern Idaho Special services out of Idaho Falls as the Housing Maintenance Supervisor, again working mostly with senior citizens.  He had four children, Chris, Debbie, John and Jean.  He died Sept. 24, 1990 and his remains were buried near his mother’s grave in Cokeville, WY.
