Ted, age 59, died Friday, 26 Oct 1990, at his home in Bennington, ID.  He was born 21 June 1931 in Bennington to James A. A. and Jessie Perkins Crane.  He married Nadine Gardner on 16 Jan 1953 at the Logan LDS Temple.  An active member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions, including Bishop from 1979 to March 1985.  During that time, plans to build a new chapel in Bennington were approved.  He was serving as Sunday school president at the time of his death. 

Interested in community affairs, he served on the ASC Committee and president of the Bennington Culinary Water Board and Bennington irrigations systems in the valley.  He also served on the Bear Lake County School Board.  He lived all his life in Bennington and was a farmer and rancher.  He enjoyed traveling, hunting and his horses. 

He was the father of three sons and three daughters and has 15 grandchildren.
