Eleanor Humphreys (Rasmussen) - Class of 1935

POCATELLO - Eleanor Humpherys Rasmussen, 83, died Thursday morning, April 8, 1999, at a local medical center,
 
She was born March 26, 1916, to Samuel George and Christina Sorensen Humpherys in Wardboro, Idaho. She attended schools in the Montpelier area, graduating from Montpelier High School.
 
She married Donald Myers Rasmussen August 21, 1956, in Idaho Falls. He preceded her in death August 24, 1970.
She was employed as a waitress at Remo's Restaurant for many years. She enjoyed bowling, bingo and ceramics. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She also was a member of the Union Pacific Old Timers Club No. 15.

She is survived by two brothers, Lewis Humpherys, Soda Springs; Don Humpherys, Dingle; four sisters, Marge Rushton, Ogden, Utah; Grace Trujillo, Soda Springs; Berniece Hunter, Ogden, Utah; and Mary Bosch, Pocatello. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald M.; two brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, April 12, 1999, at 11 a.m. in the Henderson-Cornelison Funeral Chapel, 431 N. 15th Ave., Pocatello, with Bishop Ronald Atkinson of the LDS Central Stake, 16th Ward, officiating. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in the Montpelier Cemetery.
