Vivienne Tueller (Dimick) - Class of 1935

MONTPELIER - Vivienne Ruth Tueller Dimick, lifelong Montpelier resident, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2004, at age 86.

She worked for the Bear Lake County Library for 42 years. She first worked as an assistant librarian, then as head librarian from 1959 to her retirement in 1994. The Idaho Library Association named her the Idaho State Librarian in 1981.

Vivienne was born Sept. 16, 1917, in the Montpelier Hospital, was raised in Montpelier and graduated from Montpelier High School in 1935. She was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, in which she held many callings, including Primary president of the Montpelier Second Ward.

Vivienne was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Raymond Evans Dimick; by six siblings, Helen Tueller Buehler Parker, Herman Tueller, Marguerite Tueller Higham, Victor Tueller, Lucile Tueller Wilkes and Harry Tueller; and by one granddaughter. She is survived by her sons, David and Neil Dimick; and by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Jan. 17 at 2 p.m., in the Montpelier Sixth Ward Chapel. Burial will be in the Montpelier Cemetery, under the direction of Matthews Mortuary of Montpelier.
