Scott Tueller - Class of 1940

BOUNTIFUL - Scott Jr. Tueller, age 84, passed away peacefully at his home Tuesday, March 13, 2007 in Bountiful, Utah. Born April 12, 1922 in Montpelier, Idaho the son of Alvin Christian Tueller and Cecilia Ellen Dustin. Married Alice Joy LaRocco October 21, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. He worked as a manager of Safeway, at Keith O'Brien's, and Ban-gerter Produce. He was the Supervisor of Bountiful Parks and a volunteer Fireman. He is an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many callings. Dad and Mom fulfilled a "Family to Family" mission. He loves fishing, hunting, camping, and the outdoors. He has a great love of the gospel and his family. He is a great example, always helping and serving, joking, an awesome smile and a heart full of love. Survived by his wife, Joy Tueller; five children, Tana Simmons, Janet (Bentsen) Moss, Brenda Oliekan, Rick Tueller, and Cindy (Shawn) Porter; siblings, Beth (Bryant) Olsen, Loa Lee (Wendell) Nelson, Gayle (Coy) Larsen, Larry (Julie) Tueller, and Glade Tueller; 16 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers, Bruce Tueller, Don Tueller, and twins, Ned and Ted Tueller. We love you, Dad. You'll be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Bountiful 24th Ward chapel, 720 East 550 North. Interment, Bountiful City Cemetery.
