Don Bohi - Class of 1947

POCATELLO — After a courageous battle with cancer Donald Wayne Bohi, 72, passed away January 9, 2002, at a local care facility. He was born May 24, 1929, to Alvin and Alice L. (Pugmire) Bohi in Montpelier, Idaho. He joined the Air Force in 1950, and finished his high school in the service, receiving his GED. He remained in the Air Force for four years. 

Don married Dean Box Bohi February 3, 1951, in Weatherford, Texas. Don began working for the railroad July 31, 1945, and took a leave to join the Air Force, returning to the railroad in 1954. 

He was a member of the BPO Elks No. 674 for 26 years, and a lifetime member of the VFW No. 3884. He was also a member of the United Transportation Union. He belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He enjoyed fishing and hunting with his wife, and together they loved working in their yard. They also loved to travel. 

He is survived by two brothers, Dell Bohi, Paradise, Utah, Darell Bohi, Idaho Falls, Idaho; and several nieces and nephews. 

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2002, at the Montpelier Cemetery, with military rites provided by the Montpelier Veterans Honor Guard.
