MONTPELIER - Joan Jensen Linford, 73, passed away September 9, 2004, in the Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier. She was born August 15, 1931, along with a twin brother Joseph, in Boise, Idaho, to Sterling William and Sarah Elizabeth Dayton Jensen. 

She graduated from Montpelier High School and lived all of her life in Montpelier. She married Rex Linford September 10, 1951, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They were later divorced in August 1988.

Joan is survived by one son, Darlo Rex Linford of Green River, Wyo., two grandchildren, Sterling and Kimberly and two great grandchildren, Cassidy and Chase, all of Green River, Wyo. She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin brother Joe and a daughter-in-law, Gwendolyn. 

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2004, in the Matthews Mortuary Chapel, 702 Clay St.
