Dayle Weaver - Class of 1962

Dayle Clifton Weaver, 65, of Lampasas, Texas, died January 1, 2009, in Austin, Texas. He was born March 25, 1943, in Georgetown, Idaho, to Samuel Udell and Nina Robison Weaver. He married Evelyn Begaye on December 28, 1965, in the LDS Temple in Logan Utah. They were married for 44 years.

He was a graduate of Bear Lake High School in Montpelier, Idaho, and graduated from Ricks College with an associate degree in geology. He continued his education throughout his career as an insurance agent with Prudential Insurance, earning numerous designations. He retired from Prudential after 25 years of service. 
He also worked for the LDS Church as a gardener for five years. He spent 25-plus years with the Bear Lake County Search and Rescue.

Dayle is survived by his wife, Evelyn Weaver, of Copperas Cove, Texas; mother, Nina Weaver, of Georgetown, Idaho; daughter, Tami Ott, of Copperas Cove, Texas; daughter, Tina Beach of Buffalo, Wyoming; son, Shaun Weaver, of Clyde, North Carolina; daughter, Jylene Brower of Pocatello, Idaho; son, Dallyn Weaver, of Buffalo, Wyoming; grandchildren, Zachary Hazleton of Breckenridge, Texas, Jessica and Steven Jazdyk of Copperas Cove, Texas, and Samuel Beach of Buffalo, Wyoming.

Dayle was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Udell Weaver, son, Lewis Dayle Weaver. 
Dayle was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and going "to the woods" with his family. He instilled a great love of nature in his children.

Funeral services were held at the Montpelier LDS Second Ward Church on January 9, 2009. Interment was at the Georgetown Cemetery.
