Rhena Nield (Tate) - Class of 1961

Rhena Louise Nield Tait, age 62, died Thursday, October 20, 2005 in Cedar City, Utah. She was born April 2, 1943 in Montpelier, Idaho to Rhena Emily Wilkes and LaVar Broadbent Nield, the youngest of seven children. She married Bernard Al Tait September 12, 1963 in the Logan Utah LDS Temple.

Rhena was raised and educated in Montpelier, Idaho, and later graduated from the Hollywood Beauty
College in Logan. She enjoyed being a stay-at-home mother, was always a good listener, and was an ideal
grandmother. She did beautiful embroidery work, and enjoyed dancing with the Hey Cedars Square Dance
Club. She was an active member of the LDS Church who fulfilled her callings faithfully.

Survivors include husband, Al Tait of Cedar City, UT; children, Eric (Jennifer) Tait of Cedar City, UT, Alicia
Tait of Cedar City, and David (Angie) Tait of Richfield, UT; brothers and sisters, Darrell (Waneen) Nield of
Spanish Fork, UT, Betty Ruth (Ross) Thurber of Spokane, WA, Mary Lue (Harold) Bunn of Montpelier, ID,
and John (Sally) Nield of Spanish Fork, UT; and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her
parents; two sons, Michael and Rhett; and two sisters, Naomi Grunig and Roma Parker. Funeral services
were held October 25, 2005 in the Cedar City 15th Ward chapel, 500 West 400 North. Graveside services were held at the Mt. Carmel Utah Cemetery.
