In Memory

Robert Anthony - Class of 1951

Robert was born on October 24, 1932 and passed away on February 9, 2000 from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS, aka Lou Gehrig's Disease) and parkinsons disease. He was an awesome father and husband, who loved his family deeply and every dog that crossed his path. After graduation from Montpelier High he lived in Bern Idaho. He worked for his father distributing oil and gasoline for Chevron Oil up to 1978. He worked three years for the Union Pacific Railroad and finished his working years with the Bear Lake County Road department from which he retired in 1999. He was friends with everyone and if you ever met him, he remembered your name, birthday and where you were born, and probably the time of day you were born. We miss him greatly, but know he is off making friends and encouraging others as he goes. He is survived by his wife Carrie and his three sons Brady, Marc and Troy.
