Jimmie Hanson - Class of 1952

James Clinton Hanson, 63, of Green River, Wy., passed away Monday, Jan. 26, 1998, at the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City. He was born July 6, 1934, in Montpelier to Clinton V. and Edith Dayton Hanson. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1952. He served his country in the US. Navy. He married Connie Gail Staser December 31, 1955. He retired from Allied Chemical Co. in Green River in 1987. He spent some of his time golfing, fishing„ working in his yard and watching sports on TV. He had a great sense of humor and made friends easily. Jim always had a good joke to tell. He loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandson and looked forward to their visits and house calls. He was a member of the LDS Church. Jim is survived by his daughters, Teresa K. and Kerry Horner of Christopher, Il., Stacy Hanson of Phoenix, Az. and Susan and Todd Anderson of Pocatello; his mother, Edith Hanson of Kaysville; his sisters, DeAnne Horsley of Farmington and Vicki Woolett of Lander; nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. He also has many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was buried in the Montpelier Cemetery.
