Mary Kay Holmes (Poulsen) (1952)

Joan was a honest girl who stuck by friends when needed.  In Home Econ.class Joan always had my back side as  Mrs Oakley liked to blame me for any disturbance,  when her back was turned to the chalk board and a noise was made she would always blame me.  Joan was the only one who would speak up and tell her it was not me.  I thought that took a lot of courage on her part.

I worked at the Kit Kat and Joan would come in and sit in a booth and let me know who was trying to get away with (things)  One Fri night we were so busy, and a ball game besides.  A group of boys decieded to have a party on the Kit Kat and drew attention up front while others packed from the back room:  Pop, Hamberger, Buns. ect  I do hope they had a fun night.   Good old Bear Lake fun
