Virginia Kunz Price passed away on October 27, 2024, at Bear Lake Memorial Hospital in Montpelier, Idaho. She was born on September 29, 1934, to O'Neal and Aseneth Kunz in Bern, Idaho.
She graduated from high school in Montpelier in 1952. A year later, she married Kenneth Price and started her family of five children: Merlyn, Kirt Dee, Carson Kenneth, Renee Ann, and Hal Mark.
Virginia was always a hard worker, working side by side with her husband, Ken, driving the pilot car to his various jobs. In addition, she held various other jobs, including positions at Lanes, JCPenney, cleaning churches, Kings, and the seminary building. Her home was a welcoming spot for many, where they could always count on a meal. She loved sewing and quilting, sharing this talent with numerous people in the valley. So many family members and friends treasure a quilt made by her. She lived a life full of service and love.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Merlin Kenneth; sons Kirt Dee and Hal Mark; and grandsons Jed and Shawn.
Virginia is survived by her daughters Merlyn and ReNee Ann; son Carson and his wife Jan; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A viewing will be held at Schwab-Matthews Mortuary on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10:30 am to 11:45 am, with a graveside service following at Montpelier Cemetery at 12:00 noon. A luncheon will be provided afterward at the 1st/4th Ward church building.
