 Involved in many school sports, skiing and ice skating. Honors student. Babysitter. Clerk in M.H. King

1942-44 / SLC, UT – Switchboard operator/receptionist

1944-46 / New York/Iowa/Washington/Oregon (Navy) – Yoeman 1st class – Typed secret orders for merchant ships on Pacific Ocean and beyond.  

In the Singing Platoon. Played snare drum in Navy marching band.

1947 / NYC, NY - Veterans Services Office secretary at Columbia University

1948-49 / LOGAN, UT – USU student of psychology and music

1949-50 / NORWAY – LDS Mission (Sherwin served here also. Met there)

1950-51 / NYC, NY – Statistician at NBC-TV

Barbara is a very accomplished woman, but her greatest contribution 

 to our lives is her charity she always so freely gave. 

We love her dearly and will miss her greatly…’til we meet again.
