Brittany Linn Miller - Class of 2000

Brittany Linn Miller, 15, was called home to her Heavenly Father on January 17, 1997. She was traveling to a basketball game with her friends and was killed in an automobile accident, along with five others.

She was born November 16, 1981 in Montpelier to Paul and Gay Lewis Miller. She was a member of the LDS Church and at the time of her death was serving as Mia Maid President. She was her seminary class pianist and a member of the Treble Choir at Bear Lake High School, where she was a freshman. She loved music and was an accomplished piano player and singer. She was an excellent student and had maintained a 4.0 grade point average. Brittany loved the out of doors and was a good hunter and a crack shot. She also loved family camping trips. She was a loving sister and daughter and will be greatly missed by her friends and family.

Brittany is survived by her parents and three sisters, Cassie, Lacy and Tiffini, all of Georgetown. She is also survived by her grandfather, DeLee R. Miller of Georgetown, grandparents Joe and Betty Lewis and Truman and Orlene Valentine, all of Montpelier, and many uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother Aleen Miller and an aunt Mandi Miller. We love you Bee!

Funeral services will be held January 22 at 11 a.m. in the Georgetown LDS Chapel where friends may call that morning from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Georgetown Cemetery with services under the direction of Matthews Mortuary.
