Stacy Kaye Peterson (Caldwell) - Class of 1989

Stacy Kaye Caldwell returned home to her Heavenly Father on April 18, 2023, at the age of 52. Born on March 9, 1972, Stacy was the first-born child of Russell and Janet Peterson and was raised in Montpelier, Idaho.

After graduating from Bear Lake High School, she attended BYU-Hawaii and then Ricks College where she obtained her associate degree. While at Ricks, she met the love of her life Michael T Caldwell. They were married on August 10, 1991, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. They moved to Cedar City, Utah, where Stacy graduated with a bachelor’s degree in advertising and communications from Southern Utah University. They raised their three children in Kaysville, Utah. Stacy adored her family.

Stacy brought light to every life she touched. She was very passionate about her children and always supported them. She adored her two grandchildren. Stacy was a creative person who enjoyed art and decorating. She was very sociable and always made everyone feel special. She would light up any room with her laugh and bright personality. Stacy was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She loved to serve those around her and loved her Heavenly Father very much.

Stacy adored and loved her family above all else. She is survived by her loving husband Michael and three children: Tyler (Nadya), BreeAnna, and Malia. She is survived by two grandchildren, Damian and Mila.  She is also survived by her three siblings: Travis Peterson, Brenda Messerly, and Suzanne Dance. She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Janet Peterson.

All who knew her will miss her.

A viewing will be held April 23, 2023, from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Russon Brothers Mortuary, 1941 N. Main in Farmington. A viewing prior to the funeral services will be held April 24, 2023, from 9:45-10:45 a.m. at the chapel. Funeral services will be held April 24 at 11:00 a.m. at 825 South 50 East in Farmington, Utah.

Services will be streamed live on the Russon Brothers Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/russonmortuary) and on this obituary page. The live stream will begin about 10-15 minutes prior to the service and will be posted below.
