Madge was born July 3, 1958 and died June 6, 2018 at her home in Orange, CA after year-long battle with cancer. Her parents were Harold and Fern Reese and she grew up in Bloomington. 

After high school Madge worked several years for the telephone Co. in Salt Lake City where she met and married Andrew Carpenter. They had one child, Nichole, whom Madge always referred to as her greatest achievement. 

Madge worked over 20 years for the County of Orange where more than once she received the "Award of Excellence" for her amazing typing skills. She volunteered endless hours helping the homeless, and visited the jails to help inmates with their drug addiction issues. She had a big heart , and was known for her kindness, always helping those in need. 

Madge is preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Fern Reese, a brother-in-law, Van Nebeker and a nephew, Treavor Nielson. 

She is survived by her daughter Nichole Barber (Eric); her brother Victor; and four sisters, Tanya, Tamara, Cozette and Corinne, along with several nieces and nephews. 

We all miss her so much, however it's helpful to know she's at peace, and reunited with her Father and Mother.
