Sara Tueller (Fisher) - Class of 1917

Sara Anna Tueller Fisher, 92, died Thursday, September 6, 1990 at a nursing home in Pocatello, Idaho. 

She was born September 8, 1897 in Geneva, Idaho a daughter of Gottlieb and Anna K. Woern Tueller. She married Glen Roberts Fisher on January 8, 1919 in the Logan LDS Temple. He died November 23, 1969. She was an active member of the LDS Church having served in various church positions. She attended grade school in Paris, Idaho and was a member of the Montpelier High School class of 1917, however she did not graduate. She later attended the Fielding Acadamy in Paris, Idaho. She moved to Smithfield, Utah in 1914. She worked at the Utah General Depot in Ogden for 16 years and the Navel Ordinance Plant in Pocatello.

Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Blaine and Jolene Fisher, Pocatello; Ferrin and Hilda Fisher, Pocatello; Leon and Fran Fisher, Pocatello; six daughters and five sons-in-law, Afton Hadfield, Boulder City, Nev; Dorothy and Harry Belangee, Boulder City, Nev; Beverly and Jack Young, Casper, WY; Velma and Reed Ricks, Murray, Utah; Dixie and Tom Reese; Benson, Utah; Cheryl and Wendell Liechty, Providence, 51 grandchildren and 81 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Glen Jr. and a daughter Doris, three brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 12 Noon in the Allen-Hall Mortuary chapel. Friends may call at the mortuary Monday morning at 10:30 am until time of services. Interment will be in the Smithfield Cemetery
