In Memory

Rex Bauman - Class of 1981

Rex Bruce Bauman, 41, passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 22, 2004, at his home in Geneva, Idaho, from a lifelong illness. He was born October 19, 1962, in Montpelier, Idaho, the son of Bruce and Doris Adams Bauman. Rex was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He married Becky Barker in July of 1995, and the marriage was later solemnized in the Logan, Utah LDS Temple. They had one child, Brayden Robert Bauman, and then they were later divorced. They lived on the family ranch, where Rex worked side by side with his father. He enjoyed riding horses and participating in the local parades and rendezvous. He left the ranch for two years and moved to Logan, Utah, where he worked some construction jobs. He returned to the ranch and continued doing what he loved and enjoyed the most. He recently was a ham radio operator for the Geneva Ward, and he loved being able to communicate with people all over the world.

He was a wonderful brother, father and friend. Rex will be deeply missed by all who have been left behind. He was welcomed to his heavenly home by his parents, Bruce and Doris, and his grandparents, Woodruff and Gwen Bauman and Vincent and Edith Adams. He is survived by his son, Brayden; one sister, Kathleen (Alonso) Orozco of Georgetown, Idaho; one brother, Brandon (Stacy) Bauman of Weston, Idaho; and three nieces, Kayla Orozco, Brynlee and Britney Bauman.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 29, at noon in the Geneva LDS Chapel, where friends may visit with family that morning from 10:30 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. Burial will be in the Geneva Cemetery
