In Memory

Marlene Seamons (O'Niones) - Class of 1956

“In life I loved you dearly; in death I love you still.  If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.”

Marlene “Molly” O’Niones passed away October 26, 2015, after a short battle with cancer, with her husband of 56 years, Don by her side.

She was born March 23, 1938 to Royce P. and Adra Seamons in Preston, Idaho.  She attended Montpelier High School in Montpelier, Idaho.  She met the love of her life, Donald O’Niones, while she was attending BYU and he was a visiting basketball player.  They were married on January 17, 1959. She would tell you that her greatest calling was to be a devoted and selfless wife, mother, grandmother to her children and grandchildren.  Her family would agree!

To all that knew her, Mom was a dear friend, optimistic, forgiving, unpretentious, spunky, and happy.  Some of her greatest memories were of the many family camping and boating trips.   She worked for many years as a Realtor and Broker in the Bountiful and St. George areas.

She is survived by her husband, Donald O’Niones, her son Craig O’Niones and his wife Deborah, her son Steve O’Niones, her daughter Mindy O’Niones, her brother Royce “Monty” Seamons, her sister Sharon Stoddard and her husband Jon.  Also survived by seven grandchildren and with two great grandchildren on the way.  Preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, October 30, 2015 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. where friends may visit family from 10:00-10:45 am prior to services.
