Gwynne Keetch (Quayle) - Class of 1941

Gwynne Keetch Quayle, age 94, passed away on June 10, 2017, at the home of her daughter, in Rhoadesville, VA. She was born in Bear Lake Idaho on May 7, 1923 to Elisha Pugmire Keetch and Doris Quayle Keetch. She graduated from Montpelier High School in 1941. She married John "Jack" Lamb Quayle on January 2, 1948. They were married in the LDS temple in Salt Lake City, Utah, and were married for 51 years, until Jack's passing in 1999. They raised their three children in southern California, and together they enjoyed music, square dancing, and an active membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Gwynne is survived by her three children, Bruce Quayle (Laura), Tamra Jones (David), and Jilanie McClure; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her sister, Joan Mapes (Earl), brother Paul Keetch (Glenda); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Three of Gwynne's brothers preceded her in death.

Gwynne will be buried in the Wardboro Cemetery in Wardboro, Idaho Saturday June 17,2017. A graveside service will take place at 1:00 p.m.
