Lewis Teuscher Jr - Class of 1972

Lewis John Teuscher, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son and brother left his earthly home on Thursday, June 2, 2016. He was born on November 27, 1953 to Lewis and Glenda Pickerell Teuscher.

John grew up in Montpelier, Idaho where he enjoyed the mountains and Bear Lake. Elder Teuscher served a mission in southern California for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

BYU is where John pursued an engineering degree and met his future bride, Caryn. The couple was married and sealed in the Provo Temple on November 19, 1976. Degree in hand, John moved his family to Houston and then on to Pittsburgh. Throughout his engineering career, John was a proud part of several medical device patents and saw many projects through to production.

Family was most important to John and he was always found supporting his children and grandchildren in all of their activities.

He is survived by his wife, Caryn, and children John (Kristy), Matthew (Austin), Nathan (Anne), Amy, 10 grandchildren, brothers Bruce, Lynn, Wayne, and James, and sisters Cathy and Mary. He was preceded in death by his father, and his brother Larry.

A viewing will be held at Wheeler Mortuary in Springville, UT from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, June 7. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 8, at 11 am at the LDS chapel on 353 East 400 North in Spanish Fork, UT. Burial will be in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
