Lewis DeVone Michaelson was born in Montpelier September 24, 1924 the son of Chancey Winston and Lavone Swa Michaelson. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1942. He served in the US military during World War II. He married Doris Crawford. They were later divorced. He died March 6, 2013 in Escondido, California and he was buried in Mount Hope Cemetery in San Diego, California.
