James Darnall Buhler was born in Montpelier October 31, 1919 the son of David and Sophia Rebecca Kunz Buhler.  He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1936. He served in the US Navy.  He died May 6, 2004 in Shingle Springs, California and was buried in the Westwood Hills Memorial Park in Placerville, California.
