Gordon Benjamin Kunz, 42, of Salt Lake City, died Monday, December 15, 1958, in the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City after a lingering illness. Mr Kunz was born on January 1, 1916, in Bern to Benjamin William and Rosanna Kunz. He graduated from Montpelier High School in 1933. He married Lucille Marie Walker on June 8, 1945 In Salt Lake City. He graduated from West High School and Henager's business college in Salt Lake, and was a World War II US Marine Corps veteran. He was a member of the L. D S. Church and filled a mission to California In 1938-40. He is survived by his widow; a son, Lee G. Kunz: his mother; three sisters, Mrs. Irwin (Anona) Clawson and Mrs. Melvin (Merna) Glade, all of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Stanley (Verlene) Baker. of Alameda. California. Funeral services were held today (Thursday) in the North Seventeenth ward chapel. Interment was in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
